While Villa Cimbrone is the place to be, Villa Rufolo is a must see while visiting Ravello. Villa Rufolo is right off of the main square, or piazza, and was the Rufolo family home constructed in the 13th century with stunning sea-view gardens.
Located within the main square, the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta and Saint Panteleon was originally built in the 9th century and is a site to see with its bronze doors and marble lions.
With its ornate facade, the medieval catholic cathedral is worth the few steps it takes to reach the entrance to go see the relics of Saint Andrew.
Take a short boat ride from the pier in Amalfi to see the gorgeous emerald blue water within the naturally formed cave.
Take a trip to a museum and see where the compass was originally invented, Amalfi, and learn about the history of the region!
Go on a journey into nature and hike to see the remains of abandoned mills and waterfalls! One of Griffin and Caty's favorite activities on their first trip to the Amalfi Coast together in 2018.
A walking distance from Amalfi, Atrani is Italy's smallest, but most magical, town with only ~800 residents and measuring 0.2 square kilometers. Enjoy the beach, cobblestone roads and a coffee in the square.
Once you see the Moorish tiled dome from the road, your curiosity will only be satisfied with a visit inside!
For one of the best views of the Amalfi Coast, go on a hike on the Path of the Gods. Pack some water, a fresh panino and head for the trails for a 7 kilometer hike.
If you MUST have more of a party, Music on the Rocks is a the way to experience nightlife right beside the water.
Visit the cities frozen in time just outside of Naples, as they were preserved under the ash following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Even though Herculaneum may be lesser known, it is far better preserved.
Don't forget about the Northern part of the peninsula, with a visit to Sorrento! Check out the port, explore the shops and enjoy a dish of pasta served out of a lemon at L'Antica Trattoria - an annual dinner favorite of Caty and Griffin.
Take a ferry or boat ride out to the Island of Capri, cruise through the Faraglioni (archway in the rocks), walk and shop around the beautiful island town, visit the Blue Grotto and stop by a beach club!
